Starlight Concert Band

The 73rd season of Starlight Concerts opens Tuesday with the Starlight Concert Band, joined by the 145th Infantry National Guard Band for “American Revue,” featuring patriotic favorites such as “God Bless America” and “God of our Fathers.” Since 1947, Starlight has presented quality, live music to audiences. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnic dinners; pets are allowed as long as they are on leashes. The free concert starts at 8 p.m. at the Guthrie Green, 101 E. M.B. Brady St.

Tulsa Press Club Comedy Night

A trio of local stand-up comics will share their witty observations about the world around us at the second Tulsa Press Club Comedy Night at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Tulsa Press Club, Atlas Life Building, 415 S. Boston Ave. Tulsa World photographer Ian Maule will serve as master of ceremonies for an evening featuring Andrew Deacon, T.J. Clark and Lauren Turner. Admission is free.

Juneteenth

The annual Tulsa Juneteenth celebration will be Thursday-Sunday. The festival will include a tribute to Prince with Sheila E. and Morris Day and the Time. Local performers include Faye Moffitt, Charlie Redd, Starr Fisher and Thaddeus Johnson and the Wise Men. Other events include the “Royal Hotel Block Party,” a showing of the film “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” at the Guthrie Green and a religious service led by Jamaal Dyer, pastor of Friendship Church.
