Bodean names Tim Swepston executive chef
Bodean Seafood Restaurant, 3376 E. 51st St., has named Tim Swepston the new executive chef.
Swepston replaces Jared Chamberlain, who will leave the restaurant at the end of June.
Chamberlain has been executive chef the past five years. Swepston has been chef de cuisine the past three years.
Swepston was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and raised in Tulsa. His career has taken him to Boulder, Colorado, and New Orleans, where he has cooked at Delmonico, Emeril’s, Café Atchafalaya and Dick & Jenny’s.
“Chef Tim was the natural successor to Chef Chamberlain,” Bodean CEO Taurus Faulkner said in a news release. “His passion and skills are exactly what we need to continue to provide a high-level dining experience to the city of Tulsa.”
Chamberlain has not announced his plans yet.
