The Fuel 66 food truck park is closing at the end of the day Saturday, Sept. 7, according to Facebook posts.

“I would just like to thank everyone who has come out to support our efforts,” said Robert Carnoske, Fuel 66 co-owner and owner of the MASA food truck. “I look forward to seeing Route 66 grow as a district and hope to park my food truck on the Mother Road in the future.”

The park, 2439 E. 11th St., which features a dog park, lawn games, picnic tables and inside bar, opened Nov. 26, 2016, by a group of operating partners.

It is scheduled to open at 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday.
