Chase Atlantic’s new album was released prior to an upcoming show at Cain’s Ballroom.

Good timing: Emerging alt-pop trio Chase Atlantic will perform at Cain’s Ballroom almost immediately after the release of a new album.

Chase Atlantic’s sophomore album (“Phases”) was released June 28. The Australian group, in the midst of a North American tour, is scheduled to perform Monday, July 8, at Cain’s Ballroom with Lauren Sanderson. For tickets, go to

“This album feels as though it is truly a work of astronomical measures,” lead vocalist Mitchel Cave said in a news release. “It’s the first time we were able to honestly and openly hone into something so monumentally special and raw without compromising even an inch of our integrity as artists. We’ve developed a completely new sound within a matter of months that has never been tapped into before. Chase Atlantic is now dwelling within a realm of its own; it’s both scarily isolating and blissfully euphoric at the same time. Welcome to a whole new era.”

A news release said the new album “is sure to hit home” with fans of Post Malone, The Neighbourhood, The 1975 and The Weekend.

Since the release of a self-titled debut in 2017, Chase Atlantic has racked up nearly 200 million total global streams on Spotify (with more than 1.1 million monthly listeners), global tours with Blackbear and Lights, and festival slots at Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Reading & Leeds.
