Anna Copeland Dorsey celebrated her 100th birthday on Saturday, February 9, 2019.

Anna was born in Beggs, OK. Her family moved to Tulsa in 1925. She is the sixth of seven children. Only she and her 'baby sister', who is 98, are still living. She attended Dunbar Elementary, Carver Jr. High and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School.

She attended Tuskegee Institute in Alabama, while George Washington Carver, the famous scientist and inventor, was a professor there.

Anna is a gifted musician and has been playing piano since the age of three. She is a member of Church of the Living God, Temple #53 in Tulsa, where she has been their devoted pianist for over 30 years.

Anna is loved and adored by her family. She has three children, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She celebrated her 100th birthday in Atlanta, GA with family and friends.
