Stillwater’s Iron Monk Brewing Co. has a new IPA series. The Roadtripper IPA will be a semi-annual series that will change every six months.

The first offering in the series is called Tropical IPA. Iron Monk added 84 pounds of pineapple and 35 pounds of grapefruit and then dry-hopped this beer. The result is a juicy, tropical-flavored beer that comes in at 6.5% ABV (alcohol by volume) and 65 IBUs (International Bittering Units).

The beer is available statewide.

Marshall Brewing Co. has announced the release of its summer seasonal, Arrowhead Pale Ale.

From 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 17, Tulsa International Mayfest will host the release party with an opportunity to meet brewmaster Eric Marshall. Arrowhead Pale Ale will be packaged in a newly designed 12-ounce can and will be available statewide in six packs. The release event will be in the parking lot of the former Spaghetti Warehouse, 219 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Also, Arrowhead Pale Ale and This Land Lager will be available to those 21 and older during Tulsa Mayfest, set for Friday-Sunday, May 17-May 19.

“Tulsa Mayfest has a distinguished history of showcasing local and regional artists. We are excited to present our handcrafted beer to the guests of one of the country’s most established cultural festivals in downtown Tulsa,” Marshall explained.

Arrowhead Pale Ale is an American pale ale crafted as a lighter, highly quaff-able ale with aromatic citrus notes for an easy drinking summer seasonal.
