A 45-year-old man was arrested by Bartlesville police Friday night after he apparently shot and killed his roommate.
Shawn Saejin was taken into custody on a first-degree murder complaint, Capt. Jay Hastings said in a news release.
Police were notified that a shooting had occurred about 10:15 p.m. at a residence in the 700 block of Southeast Sooner Park Drive.
Before officers arrived at the scene, Kolton Joshua Edwards was transported by private vehicle to a Tulsa hospital for treatment. Edwards, 29, was later pronounced dead, Hastings said.
After interviews with witnesses and evidence collection at the scene through a search warrant, it was determined that Saejin, who fled from the area before returning, shot Edwards inside a residence where they lived.
Police have not determined what led to the shooting, Hastings said.
