Ten packages of cocaine, weighing a total of 26.2 pounds, were found on an American Airlines jet that was in Tulsa for service Tuesday, the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to Tulsa International Airport after American Airlines employees found two packages of a white powdery substance on a plane that was at the airlines’ maintenance center.

The deputies notified U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency agents, and the deputies and agents removed 10 square packages totaling 26.2 pounds from the plane.

The substance has been positively identified as cocaine and was booked into the property room at the Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Justin Green said in a press release late Tuesday.
