A Broken Arrow woman was arrested on allegations that she broke into a motel room where her boyfriend's former girlfriend was staying and cut her boyfriend with a machete Monday night, according to police.

Nichole Lacey Lee, 32, entered a room at the Tonight Inn & Suites near 89th East Avenue and Admiral Place shortly before 11 p.m. by breaking in the door, an arrest report says. She then reportedly tried to fight her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend, who was staying in the room, but started to leave after realizing children were present.

Lee then grabbed a machete and cut her boyfriend on his left shoulder, according to the report. She got into her car and drove in circles in the street until a tire blew out, and she then continued driving recklessly with her 2-year-old son in the vehicle, the report alleges.

Police found Lee and her son in the car in the 300 block of South 89th East Avenue and arrested her. Officers noted that she smelled like alcohol, had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech, and was "extremely unsteady" on her feet.

Lee was booked into the Tulsa Jail on complaints of first-degree burglary, domestic assault with a deadly weapon, child endangerment and malicious injury to property.
