Police are investigating after a woman was reportedly shot during a drive-by shooting in north Tulsa Wednesday evening.
Tulsa Police Capt. Mike Williams said the woman was struck in the right side of her chest about 5:30 p.m. in the 700 block of East 41st Place North.
The woman was reportedly standing in her yard with her teenage son when they saw a “suspicious vehicle” drive past, Williams said. The vehicle then turned around, and at least one occupant opened fire, striking the woman.
She was transported to an area hospital in critical condition, Williams said.
Police believe the shooter might have been driving a silver Toyota Camry.
Investigators did not know a motive for the shooting, but Williams said neighbors indicated that “there’s always some type of shenanigans going on at the house.”
