Some trash collections will occur on different days this week due to the Independence Day holiday Thursday. Tulsa World file

City Hall and other city, county and federal facilities will be closed Thursday for Independence Day.

• Public safety and mission-critical operations, however, will operate as normal. Tulsa residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the following 24-hour emergency numbers: water — (918) 596-9488, and sewer — (918) 586-6999.

• There will be no residential refuse, recycling, yard waste or bulky waste collection on Thursday.

• Some customers will experience a change in their collection day(s) during this week, according to the following schedule:

• For once-a-week customers: Monday — no change; Tuesday — no change; Wednesday — no change; Thursday — collected on Friday; Friday — collected on Saturday. For twice-a-week customers: Monday and Thursday customers will be collected on Monday and Friday; Tuesday and Friday — change to Tuesday and Saturday; Wednesday and Saturday — no change.

• The city of Tulsa mulch site at 2100 N. 145th East Ave. will be closed Thursday. On Friday, the mulch site will resume its usual schedule of seven days a week, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• The city of Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter at 3031 N. Erie Ave. will be closed Thursday. On Friday, the shelter will resume its usual schedule: open Monday through Friday noon to 6 p.m., open Saturdays noon to 4 p.m., and closed on Sundays.

• Tulsa parks recreation centers will be closed on Thursday, but the parks’ outdoor facilities will be open, including city pools from 1 to 5 p.m. Red Bud Valley Nature Preserve and the Oxley Nature Center visitor center will be closed Thursday, but the Oxley Nature Center trails will be open.

• Mohawk Park and Page Belcher golf courses will be open Thursday. Tulsa Zoo and Gilcrease Museum will be open Thursday, but the Tulsa Garden Center will be closed. The Tulsa Performing Arts Center will be closed Thursday, but ticket sales will be available at www.tulsapac.com. The Greenwood Cultural Center will be closed Thursday.

• Tulsa Transit will not provide service Thursday.
