Tulsa police are investigating after a person was shot and killed in a north Tulsa home invasion early Thursday morning.

Officers responded about 1:30 a.m. to a home in the 4200 block of north Frankfort Avenue and found a victim who was later pronounced dead from gunshot wounds.

It appeared the victim had been sleeping at home when someone broke in. Police are in the early stages of the investigation. Sgt. Brandon Watkins said he couldn’t discount whether Thursday’s shooting was related to a similar home invasion in the 4500 block of North Frankfort Avenue early Monday.

Police also announced the death of a second victim from a quadruple shooting Monday afternoon.

Marco Celestine, 23, died after being shot in the upper torso at the Red Fox Apartments in the 8100 block of East 16th Street.

Josha Smith, 26, was also killed in the shooting. An additional complaint of first-degree murder has been filed against Kaleb Young, 20, who was arrested Monday afternoon after a pursuit.
