Tulsa County prosecutors charged a man Thursday as a youthful offender in a after he allegedly shot a man multiple times during an attempted robbery.

Prosecutors charged Aaron Alvizo, 18, with shooting with intent to kill and attempted robbery, according to court records. Alvizo was 17 years old at the time of the shooting, Dec. 1.

A person using the moniker "Ozzy Slums", allegedly Alvizo, reached out on Dec. 1 to the victim on Facebook to purchase marijuana, according to a probable cause affidavit. They agreed to meet at Sequoyah Park. The victim arrived and two people approached his vehicle wearing dark hoodies, requested the marijuana and pulled out guns.

The victim put his vehicle in drive and fled the area. The two hooded people, one of which allegedly was Alvizo, fired several shots. The victim was struck multiple times.

The victim drove to the 1500 block of North Harvard Avenue and called for help. He drove his vehicle more than a mile to a shopping center that houses a mobile phone store, medical facility, and a supermarket, according to a previous story.

Alvizo was identified from the Facebook profile, according to the affidavit. Alvizo is being held in Tulsa County jail on various charges from other cases.
