A Bristow woman died in a rollover crash in Creek County on Tuesday morning, the Oklahoma Highway patrol said.

Killed was Jaqueline Lee Brown, 44.

She was driving a 1990 Toyota Camry east on Oklahoma 16 about 9:30 a.m. when the car ran off the road, struck a fence and rolled an unknown number of times, ejecting her, troopers said. The crash occurred near 289th West Avenue, about 3 miles east of Bristow.

Brown was taken by helicopter to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where she was pronounced dead, the OHP said.

A passenger was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis with arm injuries, troopers said.

Brown’s condition and the cause of the crash were under investigation.

Neither she nor the passenger were wearing seat belts, troopers said.
