OKLAHOMA CITY — About 50 supporters of President Donald Trump rallied against an impeachment inquiry on Thursday outside the Oklahoma City office of U.S. Rep. Kendra Horn, one of the few House Democrats who hasn’t expressed support for an inquiry.

“We’re here today in front of Congresswoman Horn’s office to make sure that we send a message loud and clear that this truly is about accountability and the votes that she has taken in office, and that this impeachment inquiry must stop,” said Estala Hernandez, former vice chair of the Oklahoma Republican Party.

The rally was organized by Trump’s re-election campaign, which staged similar events in other U.S. cities to target Democratic House members considered vulnerable in the 2020 elections.

Horn, D-Oklahoma City, is a freshman who represents a district that favored Trump by 11 points in 2016. She is considered a top target of Republicans, and several have already announced their intent to run.
