Bartlesville Police are searching for a man they say forced another man into his car at knife-point Monday morning.

Gilbert Campus, 43, allegedly forced George Besseris, 56, into a black 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix at an apartment building in the 300 block of South Chickasaw Avenue in a “possible kidnapping incident,” according to a news release.

Campus told police by phone he would kill Besseris and that he would not be taken into custody, the release states.

The car has a primer hood and an Indiana license plate, 440FI.

Campus’ cellphone was last pinged southeast of Talala about noon.

Campus is described as a 5-foot-10 white man weighing 210 pounds with brown eyes. Besseris is described as a 6-foot-1 white man weighing 212 pounds with green eyes.

Police are asking anyone who thinks they saw the car or men to call the department at 918-338-4001.
