Update (10 a.m. Thursday): Vincense Dewayne Williams Jr., 24, of Oklahoma City, died in the shooting, police said.
A man with a gun who fired at vehicles on Interstate 35 Monday morning was shot and killed by two Oklahoma City officers, police Capt. Bo Mathews said.
Traffic was shut down on I-35 for more than six hours as the man’s body laid on the shoulder of the southbound lanes just north of Northeast 10th Street.
About 10:45 a.m., police were called about a man who was shooting at vehicles. At least two vehicles were struck by gunfire, but no one was injured.
