Regarding news of the reorganization of the University of Tulsa, it is clearly the work of Philistines who know the price of everything and the value of nothing.
Is TU a place of learning or a mere factory for producing fees?
Narrow specialization doesn't help with seeing unlikely connections and new ways of doing things. We need people with broad interests and inquisitive minds.
My advice to those who seek to learn and develop innovative, critical thinking is to look elsewhere.
