While visiting with several friends, the conversation rolled around to who has visited restaurants.
Everyone had the same complaints – loud music on poor sound systems! You cannot hear what anyone at your table is saying.
Some people had to ask if the volume could be turned down and was told no.
Because of the loud music, many of us have quit going to restaurants to eat.
Instead, we get takeout at some place and go home so we can visit with our friends.
Maybe restaurant reviewer Scott Cherry could start evaluating noise levels and list it with his evaluation of the food, service and décor.
Then we could know if we want to go or not.
If I have trouble hearing the hostess at the front entrance, I just leave.
