Looking back: The Cowboys hit 12 home runs Friday against Kansas, but they lost two of three games in the series. OSU rebounded with a 6-3 win over Dallas Baptist.

Notable: Christian Funk is the reigning Big 12 player of the week after going 8-for-17, including five homers, a double and 11 RBIs. .. OSU leads the Big 12 with 49 homers. The next best is Baylor’s 35. … Carson McCusker is batting .344.

Looking ahead: The Golden Eagles head north for a three-game Summit League series at North Dakota State this weekend before a Tuesday game at Oklahoma State.

Looking back: Oral Roberts took an important home series against first-place Omaha, winning two of three games. The Golden Eagles then completed a season sweep against Oklahoma with a 3-2 win on Tuesday.

Notable: Spencer Henson (.347), Isaac Coffey (.330), Hunter Wilson (.328) and Blake Hall (.320) are powering the ORU offense. … Henson (eight), Trevor McCutchin (seven) and Hall (six) are among the Golden Eagles’ top home run hitters. … Trey Wolf leads ORU with four saves, and Henson has three.
