Oral Roberts had 12 base hits and drew 11 walks to pick up the win in Saturday’s regular season finale at Seymour Smith Park in Omaha, Nebraska.

Riley Keizor had four RBIs and Jake McMurray scored four runs as the Golden Eagles’ top four hitters combined for nine hits, nine runs and seven runs batted in.

ORU (26-24, 17-12 Summit League) led 5-0 heading into the bottom of the second inning, but still found itself behind 7-6 after five innings.

The Golden Eagles rallied for five runs in the top of the sixth. A two-run single by Trevor McCutchin made it 9-7, and ORU didn’t trail again.

Spencer Henson, who hit a two-run home run in the first inning, went 3-for-5 with three runs and two RBIs. For the second consecutive season, he is the Summit League’s Triple Crown winner, with a .372 batting average, 17 home runs and 49 RBIs.

Up next for ORU is the Summit League Tournament, which starts Wednesday at J.L. Johnson Stadium in Tulsa. ORU, the No. 3 seed, will play No. 2 seed South Dakota State at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Top seed Omaha will face Western Illinois at noon.

OSU finale rained out

Saturday’s series finale between Oklahoma State and Baylor at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium in Stillwater was rained out.

The Cowboys (32-17, 14-9) now move on to the Big 12 Tournament, which starts Wednesday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City.
