OSU 11, Texas 10
Oklahoma State’s Andrew Navigato singled in Hueston Morrill in the bottom of the ninth inning Saturday for the winning run in a wild game at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium in Stillwater.
The Cowboys scored six runs in the sixth inning to take a 9-5 lead at one point, then the No. 19 Longhorns tied the game with four in the seventh and went ahead ahead 10-9 on Austin Todd’s sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth.
A single, two walks and a wild pitch led to the tying run for OSU, and after another walk to load the bases, Navigato delivered the game-winner — a deep fly ball over the center fielder’s head.
Navigato finished the game 3-for-4 with three RBIs. Carson McCusker also drove in three for OSU. Colin Simpson was 2-for-2 with two RBIs.
Logan Gragg (2-3), the last of five OSU pitchers, allowed one run on four hits in 2⅔ innings for the win.
The Cowboys remain home to face Oral Roberts at 6 p.m. Tuesday before heading to Lubbock, Texas, for a weekend Big 12 series with Texas Tech.
