At 7 a.m. Monday, I hopped in my car and left the only state I’d ever known. I packed everything I could in my 2010 Chevy Malibu and embarked on a nine-hour journey from Indianapolis that landed me at my new address in Tulsa.
It’s going to take longer than a few days to find my bearings more than 600 miles from home, but Tulsa has given me good vibes since my arrival. Joining the Tulsa World as the Oklahoma State beat writer led me here, and I’m excited to engage and interact with the Cowboys fan base.
Football season is quickly approaching, and there is much to be talked about surrounding Oklahoma State. I know many of you are anticipating an exciting year and I want to help provide you with as much insight and knowledge as we take this ride together. It’s only a matter of time before we find out which quarterback will be opening the season at Oregon State on Aug. 30.
Getting to know the Tulsa community and its Oklahoma State fans is just as important to me as establishing my relationships with the OSU players and coaches. Feel free to interact with me via phone (918-581-8387), Twitter (@Frank_Bonner2) or email (email@example.com) about anything OSU related. Recommendations for the best places to eat around town are also welcomed.
Thank you to the Tulsa World family for bringing me on board, and I’m looking forward to the adventures to come.
