College basketball will return to the BOK Center this year, nine months after the arena hosted the NCAA Tournament.

A doubleheader Dec. 21 will pit Tulsa against Colorado State and Oklahoma State against Minnesota, the teams announced Monday. Game times and TV networks have not been set.

Tickets start at $15 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at BOKCenter.com.

The meeting between TU and Colorado State will be the first since 1999, when the teams split a pair of meetings as members of the Western Athletic Conference. The Hurricane has played at the BOK Center on eight occasions but not since 2013.

While TU is expected to have three starters back in addition to one of the best recruiting classes in program history, the Rams return the nation’s top rebounder from last season, Nico Carvacho. He averaged 12.9 rebounds per game and leads a group of four returning starters.

OSU is taking on Minnesota in a rematch from last season, when the Cowboys lost 83-76 in Minneapolis. All five Cowboy starters are expected back, and Memorial High School standouts Kalib and Keylan Boone are part of a highly touted recruiting class.

The Gophers are coming off an NCAA Tournament appearance in which they defeated Louisville in the first round, picking up 22 wins on the season.

The Cowboys have played only one other time at the BOK, defeating TU 71-54 in 2010. OSU is 50-26 in games played in Tulsa.
