Mike Gundy turns 50 Saturday. He’ll likely do so in Stillwater — the place he has now called home for more than half of his life.

Between the rant, the hair and the success of the Oklahoma State football program over the last decade, Gundy has become synonymous with Oklahoma State University.

And believe it or not, he’s entering his 27th season as a player or coach at OSU. It’s his 17th season since Les Miles hired him back to the university in 2001.
