North Texas visits OU at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Looking back: The Sooners swept through their OU Tournament with four victories — two over Northwestern as well as Drake and Grand Canyon.

Notable: Junior Shannon Saile has been named the Big 12 pitcher of the week. She pitched 9⅔ innings over three games, picking up a win and two saves, and allowing only two hits and no runs. … OU closed out its homestand 7-0 to extend its home winning streak to 41 games. … Sydney Romero has 10 multi-hit games this season. … Opponents have only scored 28 runs in 22 games.

Oklahoma State

Record: 18-5

Looking ahead: The Cowgirls begin a 10-game road trip Thursday at Central Arkansas. OSU will play Samford and two games against Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi, before a Monday game at Memphis. The week wraps up with a game against Tulsa at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Looking back: Oklahoma State had an impressive showing with a three-game sweep at No. 24 Oregon last weekend.

Notable: OSU is ranked No. 18 in the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Top 25 poll and No. 14 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Top 25 poll. … The Cowgirls have hit 34 home runs in 23 games (1.48 per game) and are on pace to surpass last year’s school-record 62 homers. … Samantha Show and Madi Sue Montgomery have a team-high 23 hits. … Show has 15 extra-base hits, Montgomery 13.

Looking ahead: Tulsa will play in the Rock Chalk Challenge in Lawrence, Kansas, this weekend. The Golden Hurricane will take on Kansas on Friday, Nebraska and Kansas on Saturday and Nebraska on Sunday. Oklahoma State visits TU at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 20.

Looking back: TU won two of three games in the OU Tournament, beating Grand Canyon and Drake and falling to Northwestern.

Notable: Freshman Josie Muffley is making an early impact. Through her first 21 games, she has hit .460. … Senior Julia Hollingsworth ranks first on the school charts in career on-base percentage (.463) and triples (13). … Following this week, the Golden Hurricane will open American Athletic Conference play.
