Both Keylon Stokes and Sam Crawford Jr. had more than 100 yards receiving, but four turnovers doomed Tulsa in a 24-14 loss to Houston in the home finale for the Hurricane on Saturday night.

Zach Smith, who was injured in the first half of Tulsa's win against Central Florida two weeks ago, returned to the lineup and threw for nearly 400 yards, but was intercepted twice.

Tulsa (3-8, 1-6) got within 17-14 early in the fourth quarter on a T.K. Wilkerson 1-yard run, but the Hurricane gave up a 94-yard return for a touchdown on the ensuing kickoff by Marquez Stevenson.
