OKLAHOMA CITY — Hilldale’s girls golf team won its fourth team championship in seven years and fifth overall, posting a 312-304—616 on Thursday to win the Class 4A state tournament at Lake Hefner South Golf Course.

Wagoner rallied from fifth place after the first round Wednesday to finish second with a 723, one shot better than Muldrow.

Hilldale’s Kenzie Kirkhart won the individual title, shooting a 70 on Thursday for an even-par 146 total to rally from three shots back to beat Kingfisher’s Maddie Kamas by one stroke. Kirkhart’s sister, Katie, won the 2015 title.

Hilldale’s Jordan Clayborn, who finished runner-up for the title last year, was third this time. She entered the day in second and finished with a 149 total.

Emily Vang of Catoosa shot 163 to place sixth, while Wagoner’s Rylie Spaulding shot 172 to finish 12th.
