ARDMORE — Holland Hall’s Drew Mabrey shot a final-round 2-over-par 72 and finished second in the individual race Tuesday at the 4A state golf tournament.

Mabrey helped pace the Dutch to a third-place finish in the team race, one year after their third-place finish at the 3A level.

Heritage Hall won its fifth team title in six years and 13th overall, outpacing Cascia Hall by 39 shots and Holland Hall by 40.

Mabrey, who started the day in third place, finished with a three-round total of 217, overtaking Heritage Hall’s William McDonald for the runner-up spot, and finished four shots behind individual champion Max Roberts of Ada, a Northeastern State signee.

Berryhill’s Logan Brooks matched the day’s low round with a 71 and finished fourth overall, matching his fourth-place finish in last year’s 3A state meet.

Jack Gero was sixth overall with a three-round 227 total to pace Cascia Hall’s runner-up finish and Commandos freshman Williams Sides tied Holland Hall’s Allan Kalapaura for 11th at 231.
