Holland Hall’s Gabby Gregory received yet another basketball honor Wednesday when she was named Oklahoma girls player of the year by USA Today High School sports.
Earlier, the 6-foot senior was chosen Gatorade state player of the year after averaging 22.6 points and 10.3 rebounds while leading the Dutch into the 4A state tournament.
She is reigning All-World player of the year, as chosen by the Tulsa World, and is a finalist for the same honor in 2019. The winner will be announced at the third annual All-World Awards Banquet, June 22 at the Southern Hills Marriott.
Gregory, a University of Oklahoma signee, led Holland Hall to 91 wins over four seasons and finished her career as the eighth-leading scorer in state 5-on-5 girls history with 2,701 points.
She also totaled 1,107 career rebounds and was a three-time Pinnacle Conference MVP selection.
Gregory ranks No. 16 nationally at her position and No. 65 overall by Prospect Nation.
