With the Class 6A finals set, the 5A, 4A and 3A semifinals took centerstage this week.
Bishop Kelley was stopped in its attempt to earn a berth in the 5A finals, falling to OKC McGuinness 48-22 at OKC Western Heights on Friday afternoon. The game was delayed for 30 minutes by lightning, and after the delay, Dominic Richardson scored three rushing touchdowns for McGuinness.
In 4A, Wagoner fell in its attempt to win a fifth state title this decade. The Bulldogs were knocked off 7-3 by Poteau on Friday night.
In 3A, Lincoln Christian advanced to the state finals with a 33-6 win over OKC Heritage Hall. The Bulldogs will take on Plainview next week in the 3A finals after it beat Verdigris, 55-13.
