Week 9: Owasso stays undefeated, Jenks falls to Edmond Santa Fe on Friday night
Class 6A, Division I No. 1 Owasso stayed undefeated, scoring 21 third-quarter points on the way to a 34-7 win over Moore on Friday.
The Rams (9-0, 6-0) clinched the District 6AI-2 title with the victory.
In 6AI-1, No. 5 Edmond Santa Fe is one win away from claiming the district title after knocking off No. 2 Jenks, 33-30. Edmond Santa Fe can clinch the league championship with a win next week over Norman. The Trojans must beat Westmoore next week to guarantee a playoff spot.

Edmond Santa Fe sophomore Talyn Shettron has already been offered scholarships by Oklahoma State and Arkansas.
On Friday night, he showed Jenks why he is being highly recruited by major colleges.

Owasso 34, Moore 7

A district championship was one of the few things Bill Blankenship had not accomplished in his two-plus seasons at Owasso. The Rams’ legendary coach can now cross that off the list.

Sapulpa 31, Sand Springs 19

Both Sapulpa and Sand Springs have faced adversity this season, but there was still a lot on the line in their latest meeting on the gridiron.
The end result saw the sixth-ranked Chieftains down their Highway 97 rival 31-19 in District 6AII-2 action Friday night at George Collins Stadium.
