Owasso senior cornerback Duece Mayberry announced Sunday on Twitter his commitment to Kansas.

Mayberry, who will be a three-year starter for Owasso, has nine career interceptions. He also has major college offers from New Mexico State and Tulane.

His brother, Kyle, is a senior cornerback for KU.

Verbal commitments are not binding. The early signing period is Dec. 18-20.
