Summary: The Tulsa Drillers fell nine runs behind after six innings and were never able to catch up Saturday night in an 11-6 loss at Amarillo.
Notes: The Sod Poodles scored a run in the bottom of the first, then added four in the second, three more in the fifth and another in the sixth to take a 9-0 lead. ... The Drillers got on track in the seventh inning, though, scoring six runs. Eric Peterson hit a solo home run, and Logan Landon later had an RBI single to make it 9-2. The big hit, however, came from Cristian Santana. His grand slam pulled Tulsa within 9-6. ... The Drillers did not score again, though, and Amarillo added two more runs in the bottom of the seventh. ... The teams conclude the series on Sunday in Amarillo, Texas.
